ARIS by SOGECLAIR aerospace: augmented reality serving quality control

SOGECLAIR aerospace is developing an augmented reality solution enabling quality control assistance to be carried out by checking structural parts and system supports, with its partner DIOTA.

As a key player in the aerospace industry, SOGECLAIR aerospace has understood the stakes of this new technology: augmented reality. As a partner of the company DIOTA since 2018, we have jointly developed the ARIS project (Augmented Reality Inspection Solution). The aim of this solution is to superimpose the information from 3D models in order to carry out a check for the presence of fixed supports, allowing the operator to carry out quality controls, with a precision of up to 1mm.

At SOGECLAIR aerospace, we believe that the digital transformation does not consist of replacing the operator, but rather of reinforcing his ability to make the best decisions, by making all the necessary information available to him.
