PrintSky and its new Turbine Disk in Additive Manufacturing

In partnership with the CNES (French National Space Agency), PrintSky (a Joint Venture between SOGECLAIR and AddUp) has designed and manufactured an innovative and disruptive inconel turbine disk for a spacelauncher using Additive Manufacturing.

This Disk is composed of a lightweight structure with an internal lattice network. It’s designed to survive the harsh conditions of a rocket engine turbine and intended to save weight.

All this is made possible through engineering studies and additive manufacturing.

PrintSky has been supporting CNES for several years in the design, manufacturing and optimization of rocket engine and satellite components.

Don't miss in a few weeks the results of the mechanical and high-speed rotation tests !
