From 31 August to 2 September 2026, SOGECLAIR took part in the Asia Pacific Aviation Training Summit (APATS) in Bangkok, meeting with airlines, training organisations and aviation professionals from across the Asia-Pacific region.

At Booth 603, our team presented SOGECLAIR’s approach to commercial aviation training equipment, with a focus on high-fidelity simulated cockpit equipment designed to reproduce the interfaces, controls and ergonomics pilots use in real aircraft.

Discussions throughout the event highlighted the importance of combining high fidelity with adaptability, ensuring that training equipment can meet different aircraft, training programmes and operational requirements.

A training device needs to reproduce the relevant aircraft interfaces and controls with a high level of fidelity, while remaining adaptable to specific training requirements and configurations.” François Traxel.

Throughout the event, Catherine Goudet and François Traxel represented SOGECLAIR, engaging with visitors and discussing current and future training projects.

APATS 2026 was an opportunity for SOGECLAIR to strengthen its dialogue with the commercial aviation training community and to exchange on the evolving requirements for high-fidelity training equipment.

As the aviation industry continues to develop new aircraft, technologies and training approaches, the ability to provide realistic, adaptable and operationally relevant training equipment remains a key consideration for airlines and training organisations.
