At Eurosatory, SOGECLAIR showcased its expertise dedicated to the defense sector and engaged with numerous stakeholders from across the defense community on the challenges shaping the evolution of land systems today: performance, adaptability, experimentation, industrialization and operational support.
Throughout the exhibition, SOGECLAIR teams presented a broad range of capabilities, from digital engineering to simulation and training, as well as land systems, mobility studies and metal additive manufacturing.
PHOBOS: Supporting the future of land robotics capabilities
One of the highlights of this edition was the presentation of PHOBOS, SOGECLAIR’s modular Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) platform, designed to support the experimentation and operational evaluation of new land robotics capabilities.
The exhibition was also marked by the visit of General Bruno Baratz, Commander of the Future Combat Command, accompanied by members of his staff. The visit provided an opportunity to discuss the challenges associated with integrating robotic systems into land forces and to present the capabilities offered by PHOBOS.
As part of the Pandragon program, which aims to accelerate the adoption of land robotics capabilities within the French Army, an initial PHOBOS platform has been acquired to support experimentation and operational evaluation activities. Following this first phase, a second order is currently being prepared.

Designed to evolve in line with users’ requirements, PHOBOS provides a flexible environment for evaluating new sensors, payloads and autonomous functions. Its modular design is intended to facilitate experimentation and support the development of future land robotics capabilities.
Complementary expertise to address the challenges of defense
Discussions at the SOGECLAIR booth also focused on vehicle integration and modification, mobility studies, autonomous systems, immersive simulation environments, life-cycle engineering and the additive manufacturing of lightweight, high-performance metal components.
These complementary capabilities enable SOGECLAIR to support defense programs throughout different stages of their development, combining engineering, simulation, industrialization and land mobility expertise.
This approach addresses the growing need for flexibility and responsiveness across defense programs, which must be able to integrate new technologies, rapidly experiment with new capabilities and prepare them for deployment in complex operational environments.
It also contributes to the sector’s key priorities in terms of sovereignty, performance and resilience.
An edition rich in exchanges and discussions
Throughout the exhibition, the SOGECLAIR booth welcomed numerous visitors from across the defense community. Discussions covered both technologies and the conditions required for their integration and deployment, including adaptation to operational requirements, experimentation, testing, industrialization and system availability.
These exchanges gave SOGECLAIR teams the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the expectations and challenges faced by stakeholders across the sector, while sharing their expertise and experience.
