A NEW DUO TO STRENGTHEN SOGECLAIR’S DEVELOPMENT IN NORTH AMERICA
Blagnac, France, March 5, 2026, SOGECLAIR, a provider of innovative solutions for safer and more sustainable mobility, announces the appointment of Billy Darveau as Vice President Digital Engineering North America and Romain Dusan as Vice President Cabin Interiors North America.
This new leadership duo builds on the development momentum established in the region in recent years. Their mission will be to strengthen the Group’s presence in Canada and the United States, building on operational excellence, innovation and closer collaboration with customers and partners, to sustainably consolidate SOGECLAIR’s position in the North American market.
BILLY DARVEAU APPOINTED VICE PRESIDENT DIGITAL ENGINEERING NORTH AMERICA
A graduate of ETS with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Billy Darveau brings more than 15 years of experience within the Group’s North American operations. Having started his career in technical roles before moving into leadership positions in Methods and Engineering, he has developed strong expertise in the operational and technological challenges of the market. In his new role, he will oversee the overall performance of engineering activities in Canada and the United States. His mission will include strengthening the competitiveness of the Group’s offerings, developing new strategic partnerships, and supporting customers in their innovation and industrial optimization initiatives.
ROMAIN DUSAN APPOINTED VICE PRESIDENT CABIN INTERIORS NORTH AMERICA
With more than 20 years of experience in aerospace and technology, Romain Dusan has led Business Units and managed complex industrial programs, overseeing multi-site operations and deploying strategic plans to support growth and performance. With an MBA from the University of Rhode Island and an MSc in Management from Kedge Business School, he brings recognized expertise in leading industrial operations and developing customer-focused solutions. In his new role, he will focus on strengthening relationships with customers and partners, supporting the deployment of Cabin Interiors solutions, and further expanding SOGECLAIR’s presence in the North American market.

By combining international experience, operational expertise, and deep knowledge of the North American market, Billy Darveau and Romain Dusan form a complementary leadership team dedicated to strengthening regional performance. Their collaboration will strengthen synergies between the Cabin Interiors and Digital Engineering activities, optimize project performance, and sustainably support regional stakeholders in addressing their industrial and technological challenges.

Othmane Smires is leaving SOGECLAIR at his own request for personal reasons. The Group thanks him for his commitment and his contribution to the growth of activities in North America. He will continue to support the Group during a transition period to ensure business continuity and a smooth handover. SOGECLAIR wishes him every success in his future endeavors.
